Part 3: Epubor Chirp Converter Tutorial
To get Epubor Chirp Converter to work, you need to install an Android Studio and Chirp for Android APK to download the Chirp audiobooks, and then use Epubor Chirp Converter to convert them. Please go on reading and follow the steps below.
Step 1. Download and Install Android Emulator - Google Android Studio
Note: Android Studio is the only Android emulator that can be used with the Epubor Chirp Converter. Don't install any other Android emulators. Otherwise, you will not be able to successfully convert your Chirp audiobooks with Epubor Chirp Converter. To correctly install and set up Android Studio, please follow the detailed guide below step by step.
For Win: Set up Android Studio on Windows
For Mac: Set up Android Studio on Mac
Important Tip:
Whether you're using a Windows or a Mac device, please select the correct hardware and system image when creating a virtual device in the Android Studio.
Device type: Pixel 6 Pro
System image: Android 14.0 (Google APIs)
Step 2. Install Chirp for Android APK on Android emulator
Once Chirp for Android APK has been installed successfully, it may not show up. Once Chirp for Android APK has been installed successfully, it may not show up. Please swipe upward from the bottom to open your app library and locate the Chirp app icon.
To run the Chirp app on your computer, you also need to install APKpure. It is a third-party app store where Android users can download and install apps. You can download and install APKPure from the previous guide for installing Android Studio.
Next, please launch APKPure in the emulator, search for "Chirp" and install the app.
After the installation finish, click the "Open" button to launch Chirp app.
Once Chirp for Android APK has been installed successfully, it may not show up. Please hold the circle button on the home screen of the Android emulator and slide up to find the Chirp app.
Step 3. Download Chirp audiobooks in Android emulator
Launch Chirp app and log into your Chirp account, then you can view and sort titles in your Library in Android emulator.
With the Chirp app in Android emulator, you can conveniently access, listen to and download any audiobooks purchased from Chirp website. To download Chrip audibooks, click "3 dots" on the right side of the tile, and click "Download" button to download the audiobooks from your Library.
Once the downloading process is finished, there will be a green cloud icon show up next to the title.
Note: It does not matter even if the process shows "Pending download" and "Downloading" after you click the "Download" icon to download your books in the emulator. As long as your books show up in the Chirp app in the emulator and you keep the emulator running, the Epubor Chirp Converter can successfully detect all the books from your Chirp Library.
Step 4. Launch Epubor Chirp Converter to convert Chirp audiobooks
Run Epubor chirp Converter and click "Refresh" button, the chirp books from your Chirp Library will automatically show up in Epubor Chirp Converter program. Then you can drag them to the right side and click "Start conversion" button to convert your Chirp audiobooks to DRM-free files.
Important Tip: Please don't shut down Android emulator when you use Epubor Chirp Converter to convert your audibooks. Only if you keep the Android emulator running at the same time can the books be successfully detected and converted.
When the conversion is complete, click the "Open" button at the top to locate the converted Chirp audiobooks. Each audiobook will be converted into separate M4A files by chapters in individual folders.

Q: Why newly purchased Chirp books aren't showing in Chirp app in Android emulator?
A: There is no sync button in the Chirp app. Just click and hold the mouse and swipe down to refresh and sync your purchased audiobooks to the Chirp app in the Android emulator. After your books are listed in the Android emulator, you can run Epubor Chirp Converter and click “Refresh" button to load them.
Q: Why my Chirp books aren't showing in Epubor Chirp Converter?
A: Epubor Chirp Converter needs to detect your Chirp books from Chirp app in the emulator, so please keep Android emulator running to avoid a data transfer interruption. If the books still can't show up, you can also uninstall and reinstall Epubor Chirp app. After your Chirp books are listed in the Android emulator, then click "Refresh" button in the Epubor Chirp Converter to try again.

Help! I've installed android studio exactly as directed, however, when I press play in the device manager the "phone" doesn't pop up. I see the little icon on my task bar, but it just won't open ???????
When I clicked on the task bar icon I got a couple of system errors:

...and the code execution cannot proceed because liblibprotobuf.dll was not found.
I tried reinstalling the program as suggested, but still get the same errors.
