Part 1: Download & Install
Download the right and latest version. Then double-click the file you downloaded ( .exe file for Windows users, .zip file for Mac users) to start the installation. This tutorial is based on the Windows system, if you are a Mac user, as long as you download and install the right software, the operations are almost the same.
Part 2: Free Trial & Register & Deregister & Uninstall
1. Free Trial
After you launch the Epubor Telstory Converter, if you want to continue with the trial version, please close the registration dialog. Or you can purchase the paid version to enjoy the full features.
Limitation: The trial version can only allow you to download and convert up to one book from Storytel for free. You can purchase and register it to grab all the audiobooks and ebooks from your Storytel account.
2. Register
If you want to unlock the full premium features, please make a purchase for the software.

Once you order the Epubor Telstory Converter, we will send you a confirmation email with a license code. Then you can input your licensed email address and license code for registration by clicking the key icon on the upper right.
3. Deregister
If you need to deregister the Epubor Telstory Converter, please click the red icon on the upper right to register with this software.
4. Uninstall
You can search for this software on your computer and click "Uninstall" to remove it.
Part 3: Epubor Telstory Converter Tutorials
Epubor Telstory Converter must work with an Android emulator. First, you need to install an Android Studio and Storytel for Android APK to download your Storytel books, and then use Epubor Telstory Converter to download and convert Storytel books. Please keep reading to learn the detailed steps.
Step 1. Download and Install Android Emulator on Windows and Mac
Install LDPlayer9 as Android Emulator on Windows
If you're using Windows PC, please download and install LDPlayer9 from the link below.
After you successfully install LDPlayer9, then launch this software and click "Settings"icon at the top-right corner, then go to "Other settings", and Enable "Root permission" and choose "Open remote connection" for ADB debugging.
Note: To confirm the downloaded books show up in Epubor Telstory Converter, you need to enable the root permission as the picture shows and RESTART LDPlayer to take effect.

Install Android Studio as Android Emulator on Mac/Windows
Note: To get Epubor Telstory Converter to work well, please download the right version of Android Studio from the button below.

After the installer is successfully downloaded, please double-click the downloaded file and follow your on-screen instructions to install Android Studio.
Step 2. Create an Android device on Google Android Studio
Next, click the More Actions dropdown and select Virtual Device Manager.
Then click Create Device to create a virtual Android device.
Next select Phone and choose Medium Phone as a device type, then select click Next.
Next, select a system image. Please ensure you choose Android 9.0(Google APIs) from "X86 Images" section, and click the "Download" arrow to download the necessary files, then click Next.
Next, rename your virtual device and click Finish to complete the device configuration.
Once finished, please return to the "Device Manager" and you can click Play icon to launch emulator.
Step 3. Install Storytel for Android APK on Android emulator
Download the Storytel for Android APK from the link below and drag it to the Android emulator you launched before.
Note: It will take several minutes to install APK, please wait with patience.
Once Storytel APK has been installed successfully, it may not show up. Please hold the circle button on the home screen of the Android emulator and slide up to find the Storytel app.
Step 4. Download Storytel audiobooks and ebooks in Android emulator
Now run the Storytel app and log into your Storytel account. Please confirm that you have subscribed to Storytel. Only Storytel subscribers can download audiobooks and ebooks from the Storytel app. And you need to ensure that your subscription is within the period of validity.
Then you can search for a book or go to the "Bookshelf", and click the "Download" icon to download the audiobooks and ebooks you would like to convert. You can also click "three dots" next to the "Download" button and select "Download" to download the book.
Once the downloading process is finished, you can find the downloaded books from the "Downloaded" section.
Step 5. Run Epubor Telstory Converter to convert Storytel books
Launch Epubor Telstory Converter and click "Refresh" button, all of your downloaded audiobooks or ebooks from Storytel will automatically display in the left panel. Then you can drag them to the right side and click "Start conversion" button to convert your Storytel books.
After the conversion is completed, click the "Open" button at the top to open the folder where you can find all the converted Storytel books.
UPDATE: The latest version of Epubor Telstory Converter can help you split Storytel audiobooks into chapters.
Note: 1. If the downloaded Storytel books don't show up in the Epubor Telstory Converter, please keep clicking the "Refresh" button until your books are loaded successfully.
2. If you want to delete the converted books from the book list on the left side, please log out of your Storytel account in the Android emulator and click the "Refresh" button again.

Check if your antivirus program, such as Microsoft Defender, does not flag this exe file as a false positive and quarantine the exe file. This exe is virus free and safe, but it may be flagged as suspicious by some AVs.
For Defender:
1. On your Windows device, open Windows Security.
2. Select Virus & threat protection and then, under Current threats, select Protection history.
3. If you have a list of items, you can filter on Quarantined Items.
4. Select an item you want to keep, and choose an action, such as Restore.
