After you launch the Epubor Telstory Converter, if you want to continue with the trial version, please close the registration dialog. Or you can purchase the paid version to enjoy the full features.
Limitation: The trial version can only allow you to download and convert up to one book from Storytel for free. You can purchase and register it to grab all the audiobooks and ebooks from your Storytel account.

Once you order the Epubor Telstory Converter, we will send you a confirmation email with a license code. Then you can input your licensed email address and license code for registration by clicking the key icon on the upper right.
3. Deregister

Part 3: Epubor Telstory Converter Tutorials
Epubor Telstory Converter must work with an Android emulator. First, you need to install an Android Studio and Storytel for Android APK to download your Storytel books, and then use Epubor Telstory Converter to download and convert Storytel books. Please keep reading to learn the detailed steps.
Step 1: Install Android Studio as Android Emulator on Mac/Windows
Note: To get Epubor Telstory Converter to work well, we recommend Android Studio as the Android emulator. It is compatible with both Windows and macOS. To correctly install and set up Android Studio, please follow the detailed guide below step by step.
For Win: Set up Android Studio on Windows
For Mac: Set up Android Studio on Mac
Important Tip:
Whether you're using a Windows or a Mac device, please select the correct hardware and system image when creating a virtual device in the Android Studio.
Device type: Pixel 6 Pro
System image: Android 14.0 (Google APIs)
Step 2. Install Storytel for Android APK on Android emulator
To run the Storytel app on your computer, you also need to install APKpure. It is a third-party app store where Android users can download and install apps. You can download and install APKPure from the previous guide for installing Android Studio.
Next, please launch APKPure in the emulator, search for "Storytel" and install the app.
After the installation finish, click the "Open" button to launch Storytel app.
Once Storytel APK has been installed successfully, it may not show up. Please swipe upward from the bottom to open your app library and locate the Storytel app icon.
Step 3. Download Storytel audiobooks and ebooks in an Android emulator
Now run the Storytel app and log into your Storytel account. Please confirm that you have subscribed to Storytel. Only Storytel subscribers can download audiobooks and ebooks from the Storytel app. And you need to ensure that your subscription is within the period of validity.
Then you can search for a book or go to the "Bookshelf", and click the "Download" icon to download the audiobooks and ebooks you would like to convert. You can also click "three dots" next to the "Download" button and select "Download" to download the book.
Once the downloading process is finished, you can find the downloaded books in the "Downloaded" section.
Step 4. Run Epubor Telstory Converter to convert Storytel books
Launch Epubor Telstory Converter and click "Refresh" button, all of your downloaded audiobooks or ebooks from Storytel will automatically display in the left panel. Then you can drag them to the right side and click "Start conversion" button to convert your Storytel books.
After the conversion is completed, click the "Open" button at the top to open the folder where you can find all the converted Storytel books.
UPDATE: The latest version of Epubor Telstory Converter can help you split Storytel audiobooks into chapters.
Note: 1. If the downloaded Storytel books don't show up in the Epubor Telstory Converter, please keep clicking the "Refresh" button until your books are loaded successfully.
2. If you want to delete the converted books from the book list on the left side, please log out of your Storytel account in the Android emulator and click the "Refresh" button again.

Check if your antivirus program, such as Microsoft Defender, does not flag this exe file as a false positive and quarantine the exe file. This exe is virus free and safe, but it may be flagged as suspicious by some AVs.
For Defender:
1. On your Windows device, open Windows Security.
2. Select Virus & threat protection and then, under Current threats, select Protection history.
3. If you have a list of items, you can filter on Quarantined Items.
4. Select an item you want to keep, and choose an action, such as Restore.

Installed everything as you have instructed, everything starts ok, Storytel in the emulator downloads books but the Ebupor Telstory Converter v1.0.1.80 cant't find my downloaded books. And yes - I have pressed the Refresh button a number of times. Nothing shows up on the left side in Ebupor.
Any ideas?
Is there any way that I can check where Ebupor is looking for the downloaded files (a path)? So that I check that files are downloaded to the correct directory?

"LDPlayer 9" with android 9.0 x64 with Root and ADB.
Also "Android Studio" with Android 9.0 (Pie) x86 with API 28 (as shown on the tutorial).
Both have Storytel installed, both have several books downloaded. Both are ruining and yet the "Epubor Telstory Converter" 1.0.1.80 wont find anything to decrypt.
I think Storytel have changed their database structure or something. Books are saved inside android storage in parts with *.v3.exo" extensions.
Probably the "Epubor Telstory Converter" cant find them anymore.
Also i've used "Epubor Telstory Converter" before 1 year and everything was working back then.

Hi, I am a paid user and used your program once before without any problems. Today I wanted to add e few new books to my reader but I can't.
I follow the last instruction in step 2, but the emulator won't start properly. I see it flashing on my sscreen very briefly and later I see it on the taskbar, but it won't open. Using alt+tab, I see tge screen but still can't get to it.
What can I do to resolve this? I use Windows 11 home on my laptop.
