Transferring Libby books to a Nook depends on the model. For example, newer NOOK tablets can simply install the Libby app to read library books directly. Traditional NOOK eReaders, however, require Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) to transfer downloaded Libby books.
To make things simple, here’s a universal method that works for all Nook devices — covering both eBooks and audiobooks.
1. Read Libby eBooks on Nook
Use Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) to download Libby eBooks in EPUB or PDF format, then remove DRM with Epubor Ultimate.
Step 1Install and authorize Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on your computer.
Step 2Download DRM-Protected Libby eBooks with ADE
To download DRM-protected EPUB files from Libby, go to your online loaned shelf, find the desired book, select "Read With", choose "Other Options", and then select "EPUB" or "PDF". This will download the EPUB or PDF book as a .acsm file. Finally, use ADE to open the .acsm file and initiate the downloading process.

Step 3Download and Install Epubor Ultimate
Step 4Remove DRM from Libby eBooks
Launch Epubor Ultimate, where all your ADE-downloaded library books will automatically appear under the Adobe tab on the left side panel. Simply drag and drop them to the right panel to start the decryption process.

After decryption, you can locate a specific converted DRM-free EPUB file by clicking the Decrypted button or access all EPUB files by clicking the book folder icon at the lower right of the software interface.

Step 5Transfer Libby eBooks to Nook
To transfer libby books to your Nook, connect the device to your computer using a USB cable. Once connected, locate the DRM-free EPUB files on your computer, and then simply transfer these files to your Nook.
2. Listen to Libby Audiobooks on Nook
To convert Libby audiobooks to MP3, first install Android Studio to download the audiobooks. Then, use Epubor LibAudio Mate to remove DRM and convert them into MP3 files by chapters.
Step 1Install Android Studio
Android Studio is the recommended emulator for downloading Libby audiobooks on a computer. Installation steps vary by operating system. Follow the official setup guides for:
Windows: Android Studio Installation for Windows
macOS: Android Studio Installation for macOS
Step 2Install the Libby App
Launch Android Studio, open APKPure, search for Libby, then follow the prompts to install and open the app.

Step 3Download Libby Audiobooks
To access your Libby library, search for it, then sign in with your library card and PIN.

Then find an audiobook and click the Download icon next to its cover.

Step 4Download and Install Epubor LibAudio Mate
Epubor LibAudio Mate makes it easy to back up your Libby audiobooks as MP3 files, organized by chapter and downloaded at lightning speed. Enjoy complete control—listen to your audiobooks your way, anytime.
Step 5Convert Libby Audiobooks to MP3 by Chapters
Open Epubor LibAudio Mate, it will automatically detect Libby Audiobooks downloaded via the emulator and list them in the left panel.
You need to add your selected Libby audiobooks to the main panel on the right, then click Start Conversion to remove DRM, convert them to MP3, and split the audio into chapters.

After conversion, your Libby audiobooks are saved as chaptered MP3 files. Click the Open button at the top of Epubor LibAudio Mate to access the output folder with your DRM-free audiobooks.
