Android Studio and LDPlayer are two recommended Android emulators for Windows users. Select the one that best suits your needs and follow the guide below to complete the configuration.
1. How to Set Up LDPlayer on Windows
Step 1Download and Install LDPlayer9
Step 2Enable Root Access and Remote Connection
Open LDPlayer from your desktop and click the gear icon in the top-right corner to access settings. Navigate to the "Others" section, enable "Root permission" by toggling it on, and select "Enable remote connection" under ADB debugging.

Click "Save settings", and you will be prompted to restart LDPlayer for the changes to take effect.

By the way, the installation of the APK app did not work as described either - I was then able to install it directly via the virtual Pixel 6 Pro.
I was already able to convert some magazines from Readly to PDFs, but it doesn't work for all magazines.
Conclusion: No money back necessary. :-)
Can't use the LDplayer is it's only Android9 and Kobo needs at least Android 10.
I went through this process and got to step 2 number 7 and it has me install a hypervisor driver. I click it and it says:
Android SDK is up to date.
Running Android Emulator hypervisor driver installer
[SC] ControlService FAILED 1062:

Virtual Device Manager is grayed out, and unavailable. Now what?
Windows 11
Please describe your problem more clearly and send it to us via epubor.service@gmail.com so that we can help you figure this out.
I got to this step, but the drag and drop process would not work in Windows 11 Pro on pc. A little red circle with diagonal red line came up with the drag. Turning off Windows Defender did not change this and there were no popups from Windows about blocking the step. Any suggestions?
Save the APKPure APK to your desktop, then drag and drop it onto the emulator interface to initiate the installation.
All the instructions were clear and worked on my Windows laptop UNTIL opening the Emulator. After hitting the triangle (Step 2.7) nothing pops up, just the icon in the toolbar. The following system errors pop up when I try to open the "Android" from the icon:
libandroid-emu-metrics.dll was not found.
libglib2_windows_msvc_x86_64.dll was not found.
liblibprocobuf.dil was not found.
libandroid-emu-agents.dll was not found.
I have re-downloaded and re-installed all the previous steps but I keep getting the same problem.
Also, let us know which epubor software do you use? What's the android emulator device and system image you select?
I have done everything according to the directions. Andriod Studio is installed. I have created a virtual device of Pixel 6 Pro. Installed the APKPure APK and used it to install LIbby app. I can see my audio books in the Libby app. But when I open Epubor LibAudio Mate, I get the error:
Root access is not enabled on the emulator. Please create an Android emulator with the correct hardware profile, "Pixel 6 Pro." and reinstall the app.
I don't understand why. I have installed a Pixel 6 Pro virtual device. What is missing?
