Different from the kindle paperwhite, or kindle basic, the Oasis has physical page-turn buttons, a pair of oblong capsules on the thick bezel of the device, that are positioned perfectly beneath your thumb. Like a real book, the buttons make turning a page a physical action.

To move forward, you just need to press the Oasis's tip button(regardless of how you're holding it). To move back, just press the bottom button. Anyway, the Oasis also allows you to turn pages by tapping the the screen area as you do on Kindle Paperwhite.

Is it possible to use voice commands to turn pages with the kindle? It seems impossible as the kindle has no microphone. If you read kindle books on iPad, you can turn pages with voice command. Please follow the below instructions to read kindle books on your iPad completely hands-free and turn pages with your voice.

Step 1. Tap "Settings">>"Accessibility">>"Voice Control". A window will pop up showing the benefits that using voice control, just click " Continue" to go to next step.

Then a new window will prompted with the general voice command. Click "Done" here.

And a microphone  will appear in the status bar of your device that indicates that Voice Control is listening or not listening.
