I have Mac Sonoma 14.2.1 on a 2019 iMac with 1gi hd and 24gb memory. When I open the installed appp, it will launch and after 2-4 seconds it will crash.

Any suggestions?

Which software are you using? Epubor Ultimate? Please uninstall completely the current version of Epubor Ultimate from your Mac, then reinstall the latest version from the link below.

If there is still the same issue, you can also try to open "Terminal" on your Mac, then run the command below:
cd ~/.Ultimate && sed 's/"enable_device": true/"enable_device": false/g' app_settings > app_settings_tmp && mv app_settings_tmp app_settings

After month trying all the suggestions you made (except using Terminal), I am angry because you are unable to fix your problem with my two Mac and the same for many of your clients as we can see in questions asked to you. After downloading, Epubor Ultimate crashes without giving time to enter licence code. Are you in war with Apple ? Yours is the only application acting like that. Il worked fine for years, but now, no.

I had the same problem.
Here's what fixed it-
1. uninstall epubor ultimate with appcleaner.
2. install latest version of epubor ultimate.
3. Restart iMac.
Step 3 seemed to be the key.
Running os sonoma 14.7
