Nook App Windows is Discountinued!
As of 11/29/2023, the NOOK for Windows App is no longer available for new downloads from the Microsoft Store. However, existing customers can continue to use the app as usual, with all previous NOOK content accessible in their NOOK Library.
It is not the first time that the Nook App has disappeared from the Windows app store. I have already inquired about when this app will be back, but they did not provide a positive answer. Fortunately, I still have the Nook app installed on my Windows, but I don't know how long it will continue to work.
I assume most of you are in the same situation as me. Even worse, some of you may not have installed the Nook app on your Windows computer, and there is no chance to do so anymore. Moreover, Mac users have been ignored by Nook for several years.
If you want to back up your Nook books as normal epub files, please don't worry. Today, I will share an alternative way to download Nook books to an Android emulator on both Windows and Mac and even remove DRM from Nook books on Android, including Nook ebooks and audiobooks.
You may have noticed that Nook recommends using the Nook for Android app. Therefore, it is easy to install the Nook for Android app on an Android emulator, download Nook books on the Android emulator, and then remove DRM with our powerful tool – Epubor Nook Converter.
Follow the three steps to download nook books on Android and remove Nook drm.
Step 1. Download and install Android emulator on Windows/Mac.
No matter on Windows or Mac, you can use the Google Android Studio. Choose the correct computer operation system. Then follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
Then create a virtual device by choosing the Pixel 6 as the device and API 34 "UpSideDownCake" (Android 14.0) as the Android image version. After creating the Android device, simply launch it.
Note: There are many Android emulators on the market. It is better to use Google Android Studio as we recommended.
Step 2. Install Nook for Android App on Android emulator and download Nook books to Android emulator.
Download the nook for android apk from the above link and then drag it to the Android emulator to install it.
Then login to Nook for Android, locate the book you wish to download, and click the cloud icon to download it.

Hello, I followed all the steps but there is no detection of the books in the Epubor app. I am sure that I downloaded all the books on the emulator app. And I logged in in the Epubor app and I registered after purchasing too. Please help
